What is that old saying BLU -curiousity killed the cat. There are a few lads at work who speak Dutch so if it was not 6am and I would be killed if I turned our noisy printer on at this hour ,that is what I would do right now.Tomorrow on a day off I plan on doing just that and taking this review in to those lads to see if they can give me a favorable or negative review .The cd is a must for all nanccinuts out there anyways in my books.Watch for the footnote! -rob

I'm glad that there is someone around here that likes Nanc as much as I do!! And of course I've got it on right now. :) (Grapefruit Moon)

This one is REALLY complimentary.

Nanci Griffith, "Ruby's Torch"
In addition to being among our most extraordinary songwriters, Griffith is one of our finest song interpreters. She veers from her country-folk path to gift us with a lush and luscious album of tenderly torchy tunes. Attaining a profound level of intimacy, her performances here are breathtaking, transporting the listener. Her version of Jimmy Webb's "If These Walls Could Speak" is particularly beautiful.
