Red House Records, RHR CD 114

Sounds of Wood & Steel 2 (1999)
Windham Hill Records, 01934-11404-2
(Contains a beautiful solo instrumental performance by Nanci of her song "Year Down In New Orleans.")
Winter Party, Volume Two (1999)
Centaur Entertainment, CEN 0008-2
(This is two-CD set containing continuous dance mixes of different songs from a wide variety of artists. Disc one was mixed by Julian Marsh and contains a remix of Nanci's song "Late Night Grande Hotel." Basically, everything except the original lead vocal was removed -- new backing vocals, percussion, keyboards, etc. were added. It's truly different.)

Red House Records, RHR CD 137
(Contains a solo acoustic performance of "Love at the Five and Dime" recorded live-in-the-studio on April 13, 1988)

On this CD, Nanci sings "It's a Hard Life.")

Pedernales/FreeFalls Entertainment, FFE-7019 2
(Nanci sings the beautiful "Tower Song" on this all-star studio tribute to the late Townes Van Zandt. Unfortunately, no other artist information is given about the track, so I don't know who the supporting musicians are. Other artists singing on this album include Emmylou Harris, Guy Clark, Robert Earl Keen, Willie Nelson, Cowboy Junkies, John Prine, Lucinda Williams, Steve Earle, and more.)
Philadelphia Folk Festival 40th Anniversary (2001)

(This 4-CD box set contains live recordings from 40 years' worth of Philadelphia Folk Festivals -- a truly amazing collection of singers and songs. Nanci's performance is the song "From A Distance," recorded on 8/27/2000. She is accompanied by the Blue Moon Orchestra.)
KGSR Broadcasts Vol. 9 (2001)
Private, limited-edition release from KGSR-FM, Austin
(Yet another live recording of "It's a Hard Life Wherever You Go." This one is a little different in that it is was recorded live in the radio studio, rather than in concert. Plus it's just Nanci on guitar and vocals with Pat McInerney on percussion, so it's a very "unplugged"-sounding performance. It was recorded on August 13, 2001.)
Lonesome, On'ry and Mean: A Tribute to Waylon Jennings (2003)
Dualtone, 80302-01137-2
(This is a studio recording of Nanci singing the Waylon Jennings song "You Asked Me To." On it she is joined by members of the Blue Moon Orchestra. Rather than a strict "country" interpretation, the addition of accordian and banjo give it a little of a bluegrass flavor.)
